If you’re searching for Vermont photographers who provide professional headshots, then look no further! Now that it’s spring professionals should include updating their headshots on their spring cleaning list. It’s a great time to update your image for your website, marketing materials or social profiles. Please, no more blurry iPhone photos!
Right now, it’s also campaign season for local politicians. Here are some images from a recent session I had with Denise Smith who is running for a seat in the Vermont State Senate. We photographed the session in downtown St. Albans to add local elements for visual framing and added some in-studio shots too. I was really happy with how they came out. We timed the light right and got lucky with the sun, but the addition of just the right amount of off-camera flash provided a more polished look. My goal for any portrait session, including professional portraits is to create images that are personal, fun and beautiful. Professional does not have to mean stiff and serious. The same goes for political portraits.

Studio portraits are great for marketing pieces where you may want to add text. It’s also nice to be in a more controlled environment for some shots. Studio shots can be taken in my home studio or in some cases on location.
