Spring is on its way which also means the advent of the busy season for many construction and design professionals. Even if you’re not gearing up for extra hours at work, spring is a great time to refresh your professional headshots. Before it gets hot and humid, you can take advantage of outdoor opportunities in May once the landscape has greened up. Some professionals choose locations that are specific to the kind of work they do while others choose spots that have more personal significance and offer the comfort of familiarity. Your headshot session can be tailored to whatever you wish to communicate to your clients. If you think about how many places that your bio photo will appear, from your company website to social media profiles to professional association sites, it’s worth the investment to have professional portraits taken every 2-3 years. If the thought of getting your photo taken is a little scary, consider having shots done of you in action. Oftentimes being able to focus on something else during a session allows you to relax and look more natural and it shows the great work you do. Whatever route you’d like to take, I’m happy to talk and come up with a session that’s both productive and fun.
