Taking in the View | Vermont Engagement Session | All Souls Interfaith Gathering

This fall I’ll be photographing this couple’s wedding at All Souls Interfaith Gathering in Shelburne VT. If their engagement session there last fall was a sign of anything then we are in for a fabulous day! I’ve never photographed at this venue before but I have heard (and now seen) so many great things about it that I’m really excited. They have an expansive view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. It’s one of the best this lifelong Vermonter has ever seen.

It doesn’t hurt that I’ll be working with this couple. They are a super sweet pair with very down to earth goals for their wedding. During their engagement session we wandered around the property to take in the views and find some cozy nooks too. We found a bench that would make a perfect all day sit spot. Honestly, I think I could sit anywhere at All Souls all day. I think these two probably could too.

We had to include the pooch for some family shots. She was enthusiastic and also a good model. The tree-lined driveway that was just bursting with fall color. The red dress was pretty stunning and the perfect compliment to the foliage.

A short drive took us down to the venue’s waterfront with even more views. It was truly breathtaking.

Last we traveled to Oakledge Park for just a few shots at the exact spot where Jon proposed. It was a sweet end to the session! I’m beyond thrilled to be working with these two and I can’t wait for their fall wedding.

(Their wedding day was just as perfect as their engagement session. Check it out here!)
